![]() It does a really good job of incorporating existing skills into the new pack. Let's look at vampires, specifically the Good Vampire archetype. There's a number of serious flaws with this pack that I can point out even from a short time playing, and while it's all still fresh in memory, I wanted to rant and write it up: 1) Zero connectivity to the rest of the game makes this feel like a bad spin-off rather than an addition I mean it'd be one thing if I try it out and after a little bit of time you realize the pack is actually quite expansive and you gotta buy it to try out all the features yourself, it's another if you realize "holy shit I'm about to 'beat' it." I really gotta rant here, so be ready for a wall of text style review. I got a chance to play this since a friend with slightly less willpower had it and, sadly, given how quick the pack seems to go, it wasn't really an issue for me to try it out while visiting. ![]() And that is not under their control, but under the control of upper management. So many people can do only so much in X number of hours allotted to them. I do not think they are lazy or their work is lazy. I think you are right that the developers are overworked and that means they can do only what they can do according to budgets, time, staffing, what they are told to do, etc. The island one was in between an EP and game pack and still cost the 40. I would rather have had a full EP and had it be more complete than what we got. I was thinking along these same lines last night. So much of the content in this game pack just screams that EA's developers are over-worked and forced to push new content out too soon before it's ready, resulting in a lot of the lazy stuff others have pointed out (like simple re-coloring of existing items, and lazy lot building that streamers complain about). Like seriously EA, people have been wanting Magic brought back into the sims in forever, there's even mods people made years ago that did just that. ![]() This especially feels so weird to say after they previously released a $40 vacation expansion that should have been a $20 game pack. Honestly, I can't believe I'm saying this about one of the greediest gaming companies in the world, but from what I've seen of the new magic expansion (I haven't bought it yet) I honestly wish they had charged $40 for it and spent more time fixing the bugs and adding more original content to it (i.e.
